Event Photographer for your Party

Dani Burstein

Recently my son turned two and even though I promised myself I would not have a huge party one thing leads to anthoer and huge it was. Thank goodness I hired Dani to come and take pictures of the party. I was so busy running around I did miss most of the fun, but Dani did not. We now have so many terrific pictures from that day. She captured all the graet moments including when my sons favorite friend jumped up and blew out the candles for him!!! Dani was so nice and just a pleasure to have at our event I would not hesitate to use her again.

Now for the best part, her fee's are completely reasonable, She is asking $40 per hour and at the end of the party she will supply you with a USB with all the pictures!!!

With this deal you will need to book her soon as dates fill up fast.

She can be contacted at  Dani.Burstein@gmail.com  you can also see more pictures and reviews at her facebook page HERE

Macaroni Memories

Kidlee.com

It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. But what about the actual words?  The ones spoken by our little ones.  The hilarious observations.  The language follies.  The adorable expressions. Those words - what our kids say - are absolutely priceless ... especially if we have a way to quickly save and share them.

And now there is an online solution for your journaling needs. Kidlee.com uses a Twitter-like interface to make it quick and easy for parents to jot down their kids’ quotes, milestones, and stories.

Here are a few of my recent Kidlee posts:

After spinning around, NHV says, "Woah, I'm getting busy." I think she means, "dizzy" ;)

CJV had her 4-month checkup: 9 lbs 12 ounces, 22 inches long. Healthy, happy, and vaccinated - she only cried out for a minute and was so quick to calm down. She's such a brave little peanut!

Creating a Kidlee account is simple and free. After registering, users can immediately start adding entries, or “posts” about their kids. Like Twitter, posts are limited to 140 characters, encouraging users to quickly save frequent posts. Kidlee keeps a chronological record of posts, stamping each post with the child’s age at the time. If users would like to share their Kidlee updates with friends and family, they can invite Followers to receive weekly email updates. My faraway family members absolutely love this feature!  Kidlee posts are completely private, and only viewable by Kidlee users themselves, and the Followers they choose to invite.

According to Gary, the daddy behind this brilliant idea, “Our priority when building Kidlee was to keep it super simple, for both the users and their Followers. Most parents don’t have much free time, so Kidlee allows you to zip off a post in seconds. And family and friends who are Followers don’t even need to sign up for an account. They automatically receive their email updates each week.”

Kidlee users who upgrade to Kidlee Plus for $19 per year will enjoy additional features, including the ability to write longer posts, add photos to posts, and let their Followers choose the frequency of their email updates –daily, weekly, or monthly. Kidlee Plus subscribers can also mark posts Private, so they won’t be shared with Followers.

Kidlee will soon offer an iPhone application to make it easier for users to enter their Kidlee posts on the go. In the future, Kidlee will also provide a way for users to turn their Kidlee entries into custom books.

 About Kidlee

Kidlee.com is an online journal that lets you quickly save and share the wild and wonderful things your kids say and do. It’s fast, easy, and oh so fun. Parents love it. Grandparents adore it. The kids will thank you for it later.

Here is a list of public pools in the Valley run by LA County parks and rec. Lets face it there is nothing the kids love more then a day at the pool. Although I have not had the chance to visit most of these facilities I especially like the Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks pool center, the facilty is fairly new and they have a great kids play area at 1.25 per day you can't beat it. have fun and don't forget the sunscreen.
